I’ve enjoyed strawberry milk on occasion, but I’ve always thought that it’s missing something. The cherry-almond syrup has a similar sweetness, but a more complex flavor and a bit of richness that I think makes it a perfect match for milk.
2 tablespoons Cherry-Almond Syrup (page 65)
8 ounces milk
In an 8- to 10-ounce glass, stir the Cherry-Almond Milk into a few tablespoons of the milk. Stir well to combine. Top with the remaining milk, stir again, and serve.
