Rice Burger with Fish and Sweet Sour Sauce

Rice Burger with Fish and Sweet Sour Sauce

  • 500 grams cooked rice, made into 8 flattened balls
  • Lettuce

Rice Burger with Fish and Sweet/Sour Sauce:

  • 4 50-gram snapper fillets
  • 1 egg
  • 50 grams bread flour
  • 50 grams plain flour
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Oil for frying

Sauce:

  • ½ tablespoon onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 150 milliliters boiled water
  1. Rice Burger with Fish and Sweet/Sour Sauce: Mix well all ingredients except fish. Coat fish evenly with mixture.
  2. Heat oil. Fry fish until cooked.
  3. Sauce: Sauté onion and flour until fragrant. Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, and salt. Add water. Mix well until thickened.
  4. With rice already roasted, insert fish burger. Add sweet/sour sauce.
